What is reiki
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. Originating in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui, Reiki works with hands held just above the body, with the intention of guiding “universal life energy” to areas that feel depleted, tense, or overwhelmed.
While it isn’t a clinical treatment, many people experience Reiki as calming and grounding. It can help reduce stress, soften physical or emotional tension, and create a sense of inner spaciousness—making it a supportive complement to counselling, somatic work and nervous system regulation.
It is known to bring people to deep relaxation, quiet the mind and body and bring a sense of alignment and groundness.
If you’d like to experience a session where we talk about what’s going on for you mentally, physically and emotionally, dive into energy healing and debrief after, please don’t hesitate to book.
